What Does Gaming Mean to Me?
Gaming is a world of escape. It’s a place where I can forget about the day-to-day grind and step into a universe where I’m more than just one in seven billion. It’s an opportunity to live out stories and experiences that would be impossible in my daily life. The beauty of gaming lies not only in the escape it provides but in its power to strengthen human bonds. Many of my friendships have been forged and maintained through gaming. As life pulls us in different directions, gaming keeps us connected, allowing us to laugh, compete, and share moments that transcend time zones and distance.
My Gaming Journey
It’s hard to pinpoint when my love for gaming began because it feels like it's always been there, like part of who I am. I remember my first taste of gaming when I was about 5 or 6 years old, holding a transparent Gameboy Color in my hands. I played Pokémon, but I could never get past the first few battles before losing and being sent back to the Poké Shop. Then, tragedy struck—I lost my Gameboy one winter break, and it was never found again. I was devastated. I begged and begged for a new gaming system, and eventually, Christmas came through. I got a PlayStation 2! It was the newest, the best, and I had one. It became the center of my world, and my house became the hangout spot for friends after school. From that moment on, gaming was no longer just a pastime; it was a part of my everyday life.

The First Game I Ever Played
The first game I ever really played was Pokémon on the Gameboy. But the first game I truly experienced was Final Fantasy 10. I remember being so immersed in the story and characters. I didn’t just rush through to defeat monsters. I wanted to know the names of the characters. I wanted to see the cutscenes, to understand their struggles and triumphs. That was the moment I realized how much gaming could connect you to a world and its people.
My All-Time Favorite Game
Red Dead Redemption 2 is hands down my favorite game. The world is stunning, rich in detail, and feels alive. After finishing the story, I found myself continuing to play for hours, discovering new places, hunting legendary animals, and taming every wild horse. It’s a world that never truly ends, and that’s what I love about it. The characters are complex, flawed, and relatable. I know grown men who cried at the end, and I’m no different. This game made me feel things I didn’t expect, and it stands out as one of the most masterfully crafted games I’ve ever experienced. And, let’s not forget, you get to be a cowboy!
Other Favorite Games
Jak and Daxter (the trilogy) takes second place for me. These games were a huge part of my childhood. Jak was my companion through countless adventures, and those games hold a special place in my heart.
Final Fantasy 10 would take the third spot. It was the game that opened my eyes to the deeper possibilities of gaming and storytelling.
How Many Games Have I Played?
It’s hard to say. I’ve played so many games over the years, some I’ve lost track of and others that I barely remember. But if I had to guess, I’d say around 250 games. I used to play tons of Flash games during high school, which definitely added to the count.

RPGs are my favorite genre. I love the deep stories, the character development, and the chance to immerse myself in another world. RPGs let me step into someone else’s shoes and experience life from a different perspective, and that’s what I find most appealing.
How I Came Up with My Gamer Tag
It all started with a small mobile game called Mushroom Wars 2. I spent hours playing it on my first smartphone and even made it to the top 500 players. I had a separate Google account just for mobile games, and I ended up with the name “Shrooms Factory.” Fast forward to my first job, where I had to join a work group chat. My old account was compromised, so I switched to another account and joined the group. I got a message saying, “Welcome in Shrooms Factory to your assistant manager in training position.” The next thing I knew, I was kicked out of the chat with no explanation! Turns out, the name raised some eyebrows, but luckily, my boss wasn’t too upset. Legends were born that day!
Why I Stream
I stream because I was tired of playing games alone. I never enjoyed competitive play much, and co-op games are hard to arrange. Streaming allows me to play solo games while interacting with friends and viewers from all over the world. It's a great way to share experiences and connect with people who share the same passion.
The Meaning of Fun in Streaming
For me, the fun in streaming comes from engaging with the community. Laughing with them, at them, and sometimes even at myself, it all creates a sense of camaraderie that’s hard to replicate anywhere else. It’s not just about playing games; it’s about building a space where everyone can enjoy the moment together.
Where Do I Picture My Stream in Five Years?
In five years, I don’t necessarily picture myself as a huge streamer. I’m a sous chef by trade, and I love my job. Streaming is more of a way to have fun and engage with friends, so if I remain a small but dedicated community, I’ll be living the good life. The joy I get from streaming isn’t about fame or money; it’s about the connections and the fun.
What I Value Most in Streaming
The thing I value the most in streaming is the people who come to support me, no matter how long they’ve been around. Without them, it’s just me screaming into the abyss. Their presence is what makes everything worthwhile, and I’m grateful for each and every one of them.
